Mr. Watkins also handles complex property subrogation claims on an hourly basis for The Dentists Insurance Company and has gradually expanded his practice to include the defense of toxic tort claims involving mold and asbestos, the defense of employment liability claims, and business litigation. Mr. Watkins also donates 5-10% of his time each year to worthy organizations in need of Pro Bono services. Mr. Watkins Pro Bono work focuses primarily on the public interest legal issues involving Civil Rights.

Mr. Watkins has served 14 years in the US Army Reserve and California Army National Guard as both a non-commissioned and commissioned officer. Mr. Watkins last served as a Captain commanding G Troop / 18th Cavalry Regiment, a Brigade Reconnaissance Troop based out of San Diego, California..

Over the years, Mr. Watkins has defended cases for The Dentists Insurance Company, The Hartford, Safeco Insurance Company, CNA Insurance Companies, Concord General Insurance Company, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, General Star Indemnity Company and Farmers Insurance Group.

Away from the practice of Law, Mr. Watkins enjoys coaching Little League and American Youth Soccer Organization teams, playing golf and softball, camping and most importantly, spending time with his family.
